As you may or may not be aware, efforts are being made to raise money to develop Bradfield Campsite. Fred Olsen Lines have kindly donated a cruise for TWO people and this is the main prize in our draw. The second prize, kindly donated by New Zealand Meats, is a voucher for £80.00 to spend in a restaurant of your choice and third prize is 6 bottles of wine.
Ipswich Scout Xmas Post - Update
The closing meeting took place last night at the 4th Ipswich HQ and the news was that the Ipswich scheme delivered nearly 95,000 cards, a small increase on last year. That has raised a significant amount for the groups concerned with operating it.
Thanks to EVERYONE using the scheme and especially to those involved with collecting, sorting and delivering the cards to their final destinations.
County Beaver Leader Sleepover...& more
The Beaver Leader sleepover is planned for Friday 24th to Sat 25th February at Hallowtree and is open to all Beaver Leaders, Assistant Leaders and Colony Assistants. The Friday night will be a social fun evening with a chance to meet/catch up with Leaders from other Districts in Suffolk culminating with an outdoor campfire.

Well, another year almost finished. I am so pleased that I was able to visit so many of you during the year and to hear your views on Scouting.
The overwhelming message seems to be that you are enjoying it and this comes from both the Leaders and the young people, from Beaver Scouts to Scout Network.
