Welcome to the Training Section. You can find all the information and forms you might need for anything and everything related to training! The training calendar for 2009/2010 is now available for download in PDF format. Click Here to download it - perfect for the noticeboard! The dates have been added to the site calendar and any new sessions are added to the "Events Calendar" when advised e.g. special evening training sessions so keep a look-out there too. Reminders appear in the "What's Going On" in the top right of these pages. See the main menu for more.
NOTE: Management Modules 20-24 & 26: These no longer appear in the Training Diary/Calendar. They are run on demand when there are a few managers who require them. Please let your LTM know if you wish to attend any of these modules.
CHANGING: Module 16 - Introduction to Residential Experiences
The content of this module is changing. It is now an overview of the role of residential experiences for young people in Scouting and the organisation and planning of them. This module is compulsory for gaining the Wood Badge.
NEW! - Module 38 - Skills for Residential Experiences
This module is new and contains all the skills that Leaders will need to take young people away for residential experiences. This module is important for those Leaders who will be taking young people away and wish to obtain their Nights Away Permit.
