What's Happening?

The event starts at 10am when the park opens. Each Scouting District will be allocated a time slot when the young people will meet in the palladium building to be spoken to and personally congratulated by the County Commissioner, other leaders and their family & friends. The rest of the day is free for you to roam the park, enjoying the variety of rides, activities, food and other fantastic facilities Pleasurewood Hills has to offer.

A list of each District's time slot will be published on this site nearer the event date and given to you on arrival at the park. For further information on the park's location and facilities please visit www.pleasurewoodhills.com.

Who Can Come?

Anyone!- The young people attending this event must have gained their Chief Scout's award after Easter 2013, be in Scouting uniform (with the relevant award badge sewn on!) and accompanied at all times by at least one paying adult. They are also required to attend the award event at the allotted time for their District, again with at least one responsible adult accompanying them (any additional family are welcome, but not required to attend the actual award event)

There are no limits on how many additional family, friends and leaders can come along. This is an event for the young people involved in Scouting in Suffolk and although very welcome to attend, leaders are not required and do not have to accompany or take responsibility for the young people attending from their sections.

How much does it cost?

If ordered through us in advance, the young people receiving the award enter free.  Any additional family, friend or leader that wishes to attend is at a discounted, flat rate of £11 per person.

Please note: Free entry for the award recipient is conditional on them wearing their Scouting uniform.

Discounted ticket prices only apply if ordered, in advance, through Suffolk Scouting Awards. Ticket applications must be received no later than Monday 9th June 2014 and once purchased are non refundable. Additional tickets can of course be purchased on the day from the ticket office at Pleasurewood Hills but the park's standard admission prices will apply.

Simply download and complete the ticket application form and return it to us no later than Monday 9th June 2014.
