BCU Courses and Assessments 2013

There are a number of Canoeing courses and assessments planned for next year at the Deben Watersports Centre, Woodbridge and at the Oulton Broad WSC.  For booking and further information, please see the links embedded in the tables.

 

BCU 2 Star Assessment

Course Duration: 1 Day

Minimum Age: 16+

Course Content: This a one day course which will assess you for the BCU Two Star award. You need the two star award to progress to the Coach level 1 or three star. Please note this is just assessment not training.

Prior knowledge or Qualifications: BCU 1 Star

Cost: £30 for 1 day + BCU fees

BCU 3 Star Touring

Course Duration: 1 Days

Minimum Age: 16+

Course Content:

A 3 star award is a prerequisite of Level two training and is also the minimum requirement for Scout Activity permits. During the day we will look at all elements of the test and you wll be given an evaluation of your performance at the end.

Foundation Safety and Rescue (FSRT)
FSRT is a prerequisite of Level one and two training and is also the minimum requirement for Scout Activity permits. During the day we will look at all elements of the syllabus and you wll be given a short test to apply the skills learnt. 7th April  Further info click here
