On Tuesday 8th of January, a new Explorer Scout Unit will open and serve Woodbridge & the surrounding area.
Seckford Explorer Scout Unit opens it's doors to former scouts & those who would like to join scouting between 14 and 18 years old. The Leaders, Dave , Mel, Viv and Catherine, will be running the Explorer Scout program along side the D of E award Scheme. D of E is optional & not a requirement of being a member of the unit.
The unit is the next stage on from the scout troop and we will be taking scouting activities up a level with lots of new ideas & activities planned that including hill walking, scuba diving, off road cycling, extreme sports as well as film making.

Seckford Explorer Scout Unit is based at the 1st Woodbridge Scout Group HQ & meets on a Tuesday night 19:00 21:00.
