The County Executive Committee has declared a vacancy for an Elected Member (Young Person)

This vacancy is designated as a young member role and is subsequently open only to any member of Suffolk Scouts aged 18 years old and over but who had not reached 25 years old at 1st September 2021.

The tenure of this elected post is for an initial period of up to three years or until the AGM following the member’s 28^th birthday whichever comes first.

NOTE: No nomination will be considered if it is not endorsed by a Proposer and Seconder both of whom must be Suffolk County Scout Council members.

The members of the County Executive are sure you all know some very talented young people who might like to be given the opportunity of contributing to the governance of the county. Now is the time to bring these young people forward to further broaden the membership of the County Executive and to continue its commitment to youth representation.

The closing date for the receipt of completed nomination forms is midnight on Thursday 10^th March 2022 after which no nominations will be accepted.
