(Updated 13-Jun). Paul passed away in hospital yesterday after a short illness. Our condolences go to Jean and family. Paul became an Assistant Scout Leader in 1958 at 18 in Stowmarket. Over the last 63 years, he held many roles and was District Commissioner on 3 separate occasions as well as an Assistant County Commissioner for 9 years. More recently he was the County Training Team treasurer and a member of the Stowmarket OWLS Active Support unit.
His dedication to scouting was noted when he gained the highest level of Good Service Award, the Silver Wolf, in 2005.
Funeral service at West Suffolk Crematorium, St Edmunds Chapel, on Thursday June 23rd, 2022 at 12 noon. Family flowers only please. Further details re donations in the EADT Deaths notices (see link).
