It's with great sadness that I am letting you all know that our dear friend and fellow Scouter Martin Richards passed away on Sat 22nd October after a sudden illness.
Martin's funeral is taking place on Thursday 24th November at 11:00 at the West Suffolk Crematorium, Risby, Bury St. Edmunds IP28 6RR.

Martin joined 3rd Sudbury in March 1994 and had been a County Training Adviser running First Aid courses since 2009. He regularly attended the Sudbury District Appointments committee meetings and was awarded the Medal of Merit in 2014.
Martin was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and would go out of his way to help anyone. He was passionate about first aid and passing on his knowledge to help save lives.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Janis and the family at this difficult time. He will be greatly missed by all.
