The event is based at the Caeathro site, near to the historic town of Caernarfon and on the edge of the Eyri National Park (Snowdonia). The site has two hostel buildings, which we have sole use of, and an area for camping. We plan to offer a range of activities over 7 full days in Wales.

This is a hill walking & climbing weekend in the Peak District at the Whitely Wood Guide Centre (19th-21st April) for Network and Adult Volunteers, Explorers and Scouts.

This is an assessment weekend in Snowdonia (22nd-24th March) for those putting themselves forward for hill walking permit tier 1 and tier 2 assessment.
This is an adults only weekend or for young persons who have had previous experience with CMAT and are invited to go forward to assessment or use weekend to gain experience as a pathway to obtaining a permit in future.

The CMAT Team have planned this event at Waddecar Scout Activity Centre in Lancashire. It is open to Network and Leaders, Assistant Leaders, Section/Unit Assistants, Explorer Scouts.
