Many of you will know that water and sanitation is an important part of both the cub and Scout sections Global Challenge badges.
The charity Water Aid www.wateraid.org/uk/ is able to provide speaker to talk to groups of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts about the Water and Sanitation problems encountered in many countries and how Water Aid helps out. Learning about a charity also of course assists in other badges.
There is no charge for a talk and no compulsion to raise any money for Water Aid although this is very much appreciated.
