TROG Duff the Stuffing event, Sunday 30th December 2012.
Having just completed the final Risk Assessment it has gone from medium to high risk, I took my bike out with the least knobbles on the tyres to give myself the greatest handicap and it was un-rideable in places for me, so to expect newbies and novices to be able to ride safely and enjoy the experience would be a disaster waiting to happen. Due to the awful wet weather we are experiencing, the decision has been made to cancel this event, the safety risk is far too great.
On a positive note we will endeavour to hold this event before Easter and obviously everyone will be contacted with details nearer the time once this has been arranged.
We are sorry to have to do this and for the short notice, we have been putting cancelling the event off in the hope the weather would improve but to no avail. Can I please ask you all to help spread the word.
