Apologies for the recent downtime you may have encountered when visiting the site. We have had to move all of our systems over to a new server and we hit a couple of problems. It took a little longer than we would have liked, but it's all finished now!
There's been a small change to the way you access the site; we now require the site to be accessed over https://. If you look in the top left of your browser, in the address bar, it should say https://www.suff... Hopefully it should be green as well ! (if not, get in touch). This makes sure that when you login and browse the Suffolk Scouts website, the content you are accessing is delivered to you securely using the same techniques as internet banking.
Why you might ask? - The County Directory.
Next week we will be enabling those members of Suffolk Scouts, who have been validated as members of the movement, access to the brand new on-line version of the directory that we've been working on over the last few months. It's a fantastic new & exciting tool that will enable us to communicate better as a County. <- More on that next week...
