ipsgs75This year is a very special year for us - it is 75 years since Ipswich Gang Show came together and performed the first show.

In 1938, 90+ boys came on stage to perform 'an original Song-Show' named "March (H)ares" the first of the many Ipswich Gang Shows to be performed and which have been enjoyed by both the young and old...

Now 75 years on and whilst the songs, sketches and staging may have come on in leaps and bounds the ethos behind it stays as strong today as it was back then. The young (and not so young) Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Guides, Rangers, Leaders and other supporters come together for one reason - to entertain you through singing, dancing and tickling your funny bones.

This year we have really pulled the stops out taking many of you down memory lane with songs from the 'Ol Music Halls', a trip to London Town, a promise of a 'memorable' experience with a legendary Ballet Classic and the beauty of a Christmas Wonderland to top it off.

The Show takes place 3rd-6th April 2013 at 7.15pm, with a matinee at 2.15pm on Saturday 6th, at the Great School Theatre, Ivry Street, Ipswich. Tickets are available either via calling our box office on 01473 657082, visiting Craftability, St Lawrence Street in Ipswich town centre or going online at www.ipswichgangshow.org.uk. Tickets are priced at £8.50 Adults, £6 Children/ Concessions.
